SUMMARY
We at S/4 PMCIE organization, part of the Products & Engineering board area caters one of the major focus industries like Discrete Industries with a broad portfolio of SAP products in consumable sizes and thus shorten the time-to-value for our customers
ROLE
Work with teams across organizational and geographical boundaries ensuring on time and high-quality delivery of the SAP applications in Industry Cloud.
Build and maintain Continuous Delivery and Integration pipelines per development needs
Drive collaboration among different disciplines (Development, production teams, Ops teams etc.) in automating, maintaining, and optimizing the DevOps processes
Coach and multiply information to the team members & developers on the best practices in DevOps concepts, tooling, process & infrastructure
Understand the needs of our customers, product and work with the experts to implementation the requirements in the DevOps tooling & processes.
Independent handling of DevOps activities and working closely with other team members to ensure the team success.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Strong educational qualifications (Engineering majors, MCA from reputed institutes) with 5 to 8yrs. of relevant experience.
Good technical foundation on DevOps principles and at least worked on some of the DevOps areas like Ci/cd pipelines
Good working knowledge of Jenkins, Jenkins 2.0 CI/CD pipelines, idea on various scans like security scans (fortify, checkmarx…), open-source checks and so on.
Basic coding experience using java, groovy, any automation scripting language, with good OOPs and Software Development knowledge.
Hands-on experience on SAP Cloud platform or any similar cloud platform with exposure to code to deployment, tenant/system setup, customer onboarding scenarios on cloud landscape.
Knowledge of Git/GITHUB, code quality, code testing concepts, product standards, cloud foundry is a value add.
Goal oriented with good communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English.
Ability to network across the organization, and exhibit the desire to learn, innovate and explore.
Exposure to agile development methodologies like SCRUM would be an added advantage.
Good analytical & communication skills with strong commitment.
