Role Summary:
Working for an innovative agile test team where the person will be responsible for handling DevOps & cloud based infrastructure related tasks.
Qualification Criteria/Work Experience
Essential:
Technical Skills
– AWS service – Ec2, autoscaling, S3, CloudFront, WAF, lambda, rds, inspector (primary)
– DevOps Tool – Jenkins, Ansible, terraform, packer, ELK(primary)Debugging skills using logs, monitoring information, etc.
– Monitoring tools – cloudwatch, grafana, freshping (secondary)
Soft SkillsAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with distributed team members, customer counterparts, various stakeholdersDemonstrate an enthusiastic and pro-active approach to software developmentThe ability to pro-actively suggest and implement process improvements that enhance the performance, productivity and morale of the teamThe ability to work flexibly and imaginatively in a changing and evolving project environment.
Desirable:
Programming skills on .Net / Java / Python, etc.
Concepts of Web Applications, Architecture, Deployments, etc.
Overall Project/Task description
Successful candidate will need to:Fulfil the the tasks based on project needs & customer requirements.Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Development Team, Business Analysts, QAs and Product Owners to resolve requirements gaps and conflicts.Support and maintain the software within agreed service level targets and quality objectivesProvide technical support, guidance and inspiration to other members of the team, both onshore and offshorePromptly escalate issues which cause personal or team development to fall outside of agreed quality or timescale tolerances and to actively contribute to their resolution.Pro-actively suggest and implement agreed process improvements that enhance the performance, productivity and morale of the team.Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes that enhance the performance and quality of personal and team deliverables.Work flexibly and imaginatively in a changing and evolving project environment.
