Overview
As a Devops Architect in the Transformation domain, you will be contributing to transformation in Devops across disparate technology stacks. As Deutsche Bank transitions towards Agile and DevOps, a key requirement of this role is to enable devops for various applications and critical programs to be able to deliver to production on demand. As an integral part of Transformation Devops team, you will be expected to recommend as well as publish best practices, fitment of tools and strategies.

Your key responsibilities
Define Devops strategy and framework, recommend bespoke solutions and drive POCs
Liaise with other streams (Architecture, SG/DB core build, Upstream, Downstream, Business, Operations, infrastructure services) and define potential areas of Devops automation, identify best tools and solutions
Design strategy for complex workloads and data shapes to expose potential bottlenecks and failure points
Drive for automation and standardization to ensure smooth operations and maximized uptime
Generate business cases and assists in defining project benefits/costs and participates in Fit Gap workshops and project reviews
Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables to project team, review quality of work and manage integration of team members’ work
Collaborate with dev leads to ensure that Devops in finance domain is aligned with overall transformation objectives
Ability to automate administrative and operational systems support functions is an advantage (Like scripting and DevOps tools in cloud environments).
Development of tools and features which support efficient and state of the art operations: self-healing components, scaling components, etc.
Your skills and experience
15+ years of experience in understanding of Devops and implementation of Devops in project achieving CI/CD.
Experience of working on cloud/hybrid platforms (preferably GCP)
Good Knowledge of industry standard tools for the implementation of Devops
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Workflow, Teamcity, SVN, Git, Ansible, Terraform, Artifactory, Service Now, Sonar, Selenium
Contribute design, implement automation in a Devops environment within public cloud (Azure or GCP) across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and containerized platforms.
Managing application codebase including versioning and branching strategies
Providing inputs to Deployment automation and orchestration strategy
Setting up automated monitoring and reporting and analysis for all aspects of the devops environment
Experience in integrating other applications with CI/CD pipeline by using plugins or creating bespoke scripts
Experience of creating hooks
