Key duties/responsibilities will include:
Fault diagnosis of in-house developed ESRI Desktop Add-Ins.
Ensure the Desktop Add-Ins are tested and compatible with the latest ESRI ArcGIS version
Design architecture for high availability and security-first approach;
Design architecture for sizing / scalability and performance;
Integrating product enhancements from decentralized global development teams
Implementing enhancements as directed by the Product steering group
System and Integration Testing of enhancements
Produce and deliver Training materials
Provide technical support and assistance to project team.
Identify issues and problems and develop appropriate solutions.
Establish and maintain good working relationships within organization, with its Clients and other stakeholders.
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in GIS or related discipline.
Experience in the GIS industry (8+ years)
ESRI development experiences including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcObjects, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal
Extensive coding experience in Python.
Extensive usage of GIS modules like arcpy, arcgis, GDAL, GeoPandas.
Implementing APIs using Flask and gRPC.
Proven ability of creating and deploying of Docker images.
Extensive experience in designing the microservices.
Hands on experience in architecting, implementation solutions in Azure/AWS/GCP.
Hands on experience in Agile, CI/CD and DevOps.
MS SQL Server 2012+, particularly the use of the Spatial Data types.
Proven ability and experience in the use of geospatial techniques in relation to the extraction, analysis, interpretation and presentation of geospatial data utilising ESRI software.
Level of understanding and experience with geospatial issues and geospatial techniques to acquire and manage data.
Familiarity with ArcSDE, SQL and CAD data.
Proven ability to analyse, interpret and present geospatial data to meet client requirements.
Proven ability in providing high quality, comprehensive client service and establishing effective working relationships to communicate, consult and negotiate with project teams through sound communication, teamwork and liaison skills.
Proven ability to competently perform a broad range of operational tasks associated with geospatial and administrative duties.
Proven ability in technical writing with ability to develop and maintain user guides and training material.
Demonstrated experience working independently and as a member of a team.
