Job Description
The successful candidate shall be expected to be work as developer in this department. You are required to be a highly skilled, hands on developer who shall deliver software features within a project; meeting business requirements with highest standards of quality and responsiveness of extremely timely deliveries to business; with limited to none supervision (design / code reviews / qa etc …).
Experience and Qualifications
10 -13 years
BE / BTech
Essesntial Skills
Overall experience of ‘hands on’ system software analysis, development, testing and maintenance
Seasoned IT software delivery professional with an experience of 10+ years of hands on development.
Expert at following technology sets –
Java and JEE platform on one or more containers like Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss etc..
Experience on development and solution architecting on cloud ecosystems (AWS, Cloud Foundry etc…) and the services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Dynamo DB, RDS, SNS, SQS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail including the knowledge around Docker containers
Expert level experience of key FIL integration technologies WMQ and XML related standards with hands on experience in technical design
Spring & Apache family of libraries
Web applications, Web Services and batch applications development
Working knowledge around React/Angular will be added advantage
SQL and Oracle development (or similar RDBMS)
Unix command line and scripting
You are highly skilled and efficient with Java development tooling like Eclipse (or similar)
Application development tools and frameworks like maven, ant, check style, PMD, fortify, junit, fitnesse, SOAP UI etc..
Experience with messaging based development on any of the technologies like WebSphere MQ, Active/Rabbit/Sonic MQ
Experience with responsive web and JavaScript UI technologies like npm, nodejs, angular, backbone etc…
Hands on with Java/J2EE design patterns.
Experience with agile / continuous delivery paradigms of software development and with extreme programming (XP) techniques is key.
Should be an expert craftsman on test first model of Test Driven Development (TDD).
Expert at putting in continuous integration and build/release automation practices. Experience on atleast one build server like Bamboo, Teamcity, Jenkins etc …
Has ability to envision design for complex functional and technical problems while incrementally evolving the implementation in simple progressive steps of deliveries.
You are adept at Pair programming and can comfortably pair with other developers irrespective of maturity/experience levels. You are eager to coach/guide juniors to improve the delivery capability.
You are at ease with understanding/supporting the code base written by others and in learning/trying wider technology sets / problem solving methods used in a project.
Aware and experienced with code and language/technology best practices.
Aware and experienced with different forms of architectures like SOA, Microservices, EDA ….
Experience with advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning methods for Java / web based ecosystems like container tuning, memory/thread analysis, SQL tuning etc …
Good communication skills.
Good analytical and problem resolution skills.
