Job Description : BASIC FUNCTIONSUnder the supervision of the team leader / project manager, the software engineer has to work design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications and components;Supports and/or installs software applications and componentsWorks from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process floDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESExecute and work towards serving project’s business obligation individually or as a team member as applicable.Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycleDetermining design methodologies and tool setsCompleting programming using languages and software productsDesigning and conducting tests 2.6 Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defectsInvestigate and develop skills in new technologiesCreate technical specifications and test plansParticipate actively to enhance & consistently update the technology knowledgeDevelop technology white paper for all new implementation if any, or on raise of demand from reporting authorityComply and implement the process compliance requirement and best practices requirement of the company as definedDemonstrate & conduct training as required on any job implemented to peers/team/other stake-holders/interested parties as part of knowledge transfer on demandParticipate in client meeting representing company for technical arbitration and confidence building exercise during pre-sale/post sale on any business negotiation on demand.Consistently report to peers and super-ordinate as appropriate regarding work executed and project progress as appropriateWill not hesitate to travels & work at client premises, on short notice calls as per project obligationAUTHORITYThe authority to perform the above-mentioned functions, duties and responsibilities emanates from the Senior Project ManagerThe Software Engineer is authorized to carry out all actions necessary for the achievement of the desired results in carrying out the above-mentioned duties and responsibilitieQUALIFICATIONSMust be an MCA / BE / B.Tech in Computer ScienceMust have at least 2-3 years of experience in the domain preferably from manufacturing industryMust have good oral and written communication skills in EnglishKNOWLEDGE & SKILLSASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET, JAVA, Servlet, Java Applets, JSP, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Multimedia Content DevelopmentWeb frameworks – ASP.NET MVC 1-6, ASP.NET Web Api, ASP.NET Web Forms.
