This role is for a senior developer within the Data Validation & Exception Management squad in CFO Solutions. The application is part of an ongoing development initiative to build the Finance Data Platform (F1), specifically the foundational design and build of an adjustment capability and integration with exception management / reporting components. The application is developed using technologies including React, Restful Web API, .NET (Core) Microservices, Docker Containers, Kubernetes and Hadoop, with a modern set up following Agile practices and a Jenkins CI/CD pipeline. The team is located in Pune and London. The successful applicant will be working closely with the application owner to drive the application roadmap, design new functionality and to ensure development is aligned to the F1 strategy; additional responsibilities will include mentoring the team, driving initiatives in quality and DevOps, and a constant focus on performance and scalability of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Analysing product requirements
Designing and documenting technical solutions in conjunction with the application owner
Developing high quality, performant code
Code review of peer developer code
Suggesting areas for process and application improvements

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess below:
Proven 10+ yrs of total experience with experience in .NET (framework 4.5+), C#, Rest APIs and React development
Demonstrable experience of large-scale web application development
Good experience in a recent version of React with TypeScript, HTML5 / JavaScript, CSS
Well-experienced in Agile delivery methods, with a good understanding of DevOps
An understanding of BigData concepts and relational databases (design and implementation best-practices)
Exposure to service oriented / microservice architectures
Practical experience of Docker / Kubernetes an advantage
Experience of ATDD/BDD testing methods is beneficial
