Job summary
The position is for a Engagement Delivery Lead who can work in a challenging Retail environment (Business to Business, Business to Customer) to develop, ensure quality deliverables and debug software changes within the NCR R10 interface systems and manage the Continuous Release process with the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Proposed role also requires minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Retail domain with NCR Retalix R10 Point of Sale application, NCR Fastlane Self-Checkout application, AZURE DevOps, and NCR Loyalty Management application. Experience with SAP PMR, SAP POSDM, JDA Warehouse Management System, Content Management systems is also desirable. In this role the candidate would be responsible to understand & develop reliable Automation strategies that fit into Stores Infra and application space. He/she would also be responsible for identifying root causes of network issues, manage the software deployment across multiple Retail POS systems & running post deployment environment readiness checks using the System Centre Configuration Manager and Splunk.
The role
Analyse, evaluate and develop strategies to validate the changes required in NCR R10 interfacing system in alignment with the architectural changes.
Test, diagnose, debug and fix errors to maintain the NCR R10 integration systems, using Selenium, core Java, PowerShell and Kix scripts.
Provide expert advice and guidance in developing proposals and strategies to uplift and maintain the systems to support changing technological requirements.
Develop, automate, and maintain tools to meet the system requirements and maintaining the quality of the system.
Design, develop and document the new system requirements, to support Woolworths integrated Store’s software environment.
As a QEA (Quality Engineering and Assurance) lead, ensure coordination within the geographically dispersed teams and deliver within the agreed timelines.
Identifying technology restrictions and selecting right tool for the automation of NCR R10 POS and Fast Lane supported applications
Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards.
Expertise in understanding client requirements and propose solutions which eventually leads to greater customer service. To be able to answer customer questions and provide accurate information after having the full understanding of the NCR product
Understanding Woolworths Standard Operating Environment and design test automation frameworks.
Able to Consult, analyse, evaluate the changes required in Woolworth’s integration systems as per their new architectural changes.

What does success look like?
Proposed role requires strong knowledge on Retail domain with at least 10-12 years of Retail experience (Business to Customer and Business to Business) and a minimum of 8 years of Point-of-Sale experience on NCR R10 POS application.
Deep knowledge of Retail Business in Australia context, NCR R10 Application and its end-to-end system architecture, associated middleware systems.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Retalix HQ central server, SAP ERP, POSDM web Methods and NCR R10 software.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with NCR Loyalty management system (LMS) including the promotion campaign configuration and testing
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SCCM toolset for distribution, remote installation & monitoring.
Able to Analyse, Consult & evaluate the changes required in the Woolworths Integration systems as per their new architectural changes.
Test, diagnose, debug and fix errors using automated scripting tools such as Selenium, Core Java, PowerShell and KIX scripts, task automation and configuration management framework.
Strong development skills and experience to create tools and emulators to meet the POS and self-checkout virtualization requirements.
Automate reporting of System monitoring and Event logging to track alerts for integration system failures.
In depth knowledge of Networking and VMware tools and Air watch.
Hands on experience on Mobile app automation tools like Appium.
Hands on experience on TOSCA automation tool and CA DevTest for service virtualization
Hands on experience on setting up Servers, Access Points, PIN pads, Printers, Scanners, RF mobile devices, Department Ticketing Scales, and other environment setup for testing.
Salary: >$100,000
