Job Description : Job Summary
Under limited supervision, responsible for the planning, design and build of security architectures; oversees the implementation of network and computer security and ensures compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and procedures. Monitors cybersecurity requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related network devices. Performs security assessments of applications and systems using penetration and vulnerability testing and risk analysis. Configures and installs firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Implements software fixes (patches) to remove system vulnerabilities. Responds immediately to cybersecurity-related incidents and provides a thorough post-event analysis. Investigates intrusion incidents and conducts forensic investigations.
Summary:
5+ Years of experience in cyber security. Expertise in handling security incidents. Expertise in working with any SIEM Tools and security tools like SPLUNK, EDR, ETP, WebGateway etc.,.
Knowledge in vulnerability management, HoneyPot. Hands on experience in SOC. Responsible to support all activities related to Information Security process. Willing work on night shifts.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Responsible for incident handling supporting the global development and maintenance of the organization’s business continuity strategy and implementation of pragmatic practices in support of management-approved response and recovery objectives.
Knowledge in the below mentioned Security tools and concepts
General Cyber Security concepts (5 years)
Incident Handling
SIEM, EDR, ETP, Vulnerability Management, Threat Analysis and Security Incident Handling
Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems
Log Collection tools
Windows operating systems
All networking protocols (Primarily TCP/IP)
Enterprise environment concepts such as Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, VPN and DHCP
Anti-Virus tools
Good understanding of security threats and vulnerabilities.
Supports all Information Security related activities and tasks required for the Business functionality.
Ensures that Avantor complies with existing security policies and regulations.
