The Integration and Pipeline Services team (IPS) is looking for people who are passionate about great engineering, have the humility to transition from expert to leaner to learn new things and who can lead themselves and others through ongoing change. We are passionate about delivering robust, flexible and secure integration platforms and offering integration and pipline capabilities as services. Our Engineers design, build, test and support integration solutions across platforms working closely with other squad members to ensure customer outcomes. We strive for continual innovation in what we deliver and how we work. Pipelines are designed to ensure repeatable, reliable, high quality outcomes in build and deployment.

What will your day look like

Enables continuous delivery practices to increase delivery speed

Works in collaborative teams to build robust and scalable integration platforms and pipelines

Utilises tools and best practices to build, verify and deploy platform solutions in the most efficient ways, enhancing tech division capabilities

Contributes to a culture within the Technology Area and the Engineering Chapter encouraging collaboration, continual learning and improvement

Contributes to Engineering communities, meetups and conferences to promote technology development culture and practices

Provides technical leadership across the squad, helping to solve problems through innovative thinking

Will be working on strategic event driven and real time platforms

Actively involved in platform operation and customer onboarding as well as platform evolution

Using your excellent verbal and written communication skills to speak with the platform users and stakeholders

Works with squad members to estimate, plan and deliver integration solutions and pipelines as part of strategic and bank wide initiatives.

About You

We are looking for T-shaped individuals (expert in some, novice in others) across these skillsets:

At least 5 years hands-on experience with implementing test tooling, building and maintaining automation frameworks.

Proven experience of planning test scenarios, writing and executing test plans and test cases and creation of required test data

Expertise in Selenium (Or any other similar tool set ) with significant experience across Event/API testing ( Kafka or Kong ) and continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Codefresh and BDD tools such as Cucumber, SpecFlow and JBehave.

You will be comfortable with your coding skills particularly within Java /Python / GO

Knowledge and/or experience of some one of the cloud AWS / GCP or OpenShift.

Experience in designing, developing and maintaining of test automation strategy, harness and toolset

Excellent communication skills at all levels, be an upbeat pro-active team player

Understanding of Event Driven Integration concepts and solution patterns

Experience in contemporary testing processes such as interface stubs, application mocking, performance testing, and code coverage

Highly advantageous background experience: Kafka, Kong, Docker, NodeJS, Java, Python, Kubernetes, OpenShift, New Relic, CodeFresh
