What you’ll be doing…
Write and deploy automation to maintain our deployments across multiple environments.
Provide assistance to DEV and QA groups to include: participating in meetings, building out environments, troubleshooting deployment/configuration related problems.
Creating and maintaining modules for a Configuration Management platform across multiple environments.
Automate enterprise shared services through coding.
Identify opportunities to leverage and train 1st line support to prevent escalations in the future.
Leverage existing applications, tools and device REST APIs to automate tasks and workflows.
Proactively manages the configuration of the supported systems and makes changes/additions in real-time based on requests from Operations leadership.
Coordinate with other technical staff to implement changes to the application and systems.
Document processes, procedures, configurations, and deployment plans.
Setup, configure and maintain public, private cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools.
Partner with global dev/app teams convert business requirements into an architecture blueprint and conceptual design, based on the Architecture standards and usage guidelines.
Design and build Devops infrastructure and pipelines using modern Devops tools likePuppet, Ansible, Terraform, CDK etc.
Build and Maintain collaboration tools infrastructure.
Establish and manage application onboarding process for cloud adoption program. Develop self-service onboarding capabilities using collaborative tools like one confluence & JIRA.
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Linux systems administration (RHEL/Ubuntu), Programming Languages: Java, Bash and/or Python programming skills to automate any installation/build/delivery process.
Automating the build-out and deployment of virtual nodes using Ansible.
Experience with a Microservices architecture running in containers (Docker or other containerization technology.
Use of service registries like Etcd, Consul, Zookeeper, Curator, etc.
Container orchestration frameworks like Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
Experience in administration and development of CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, Rundeck (or other CI/CD tools).
Artifact repository: Nexus, Artifactory.
Experience with Atlasssian products (JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence).
Experience with App Servers: WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat, Camel, Jboss.
Experience writing SQL scripts.
Even better if you have:
Experience with Splunk, Nagios, is or New Relic.
Build, manage and operate highly available systems utilizing Docker, HAproxy, nginx, Zookeeper, Mesos and Marathon.
Knowledge of standard networking protocols and components such as: HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting and Load Balancing.
Experience with Logstash, elasticsearch and Kibana.
AWS environment exposure.
Willing to work in Shifts.
