What success looks like in this role:
Windows • In-depth knowledge and experience on Windows server operating systems (Windows 2012R2) management and administration. • High-level trouble-shooting skill required on OS related issues, which include memory dump analysis skills and performance tuning. • In-depth knowledge and experience on server security hardening with includes patching, antivirus, PKI infrastructure and IPSec encryptions. • Experience on designing Server infrastructure. • Strong knowledge on storage and networking which help to design server. • Strong control on windows command line tools and power shell/VB scripting. • Working experience on Windows infrastructure services like FTP, Telnet, DNS and DHCP. • Strong knowledge on Microsoft licensing for Servers, Terminal services. Active Directory • In-depth knowledge and experience on Active Directory Design and Administration (Windows 2012R2/2016). • In-depth knowledge and experience on Active Directory Disaster Recovery and Forest Recovery. • Knowledge on Admin Tier model. • In-depth knowledge on FRS, DFSR replication. • Strong knowledge on Active Directory Sites, Subnets, KCC, Replication and Cost interval. • Strong Knowledge on Bridgehead servers, Global Catalog and Universal Group Membership Caching • Strong knowledge on AD troubleshooting on the replications issues, time stamps, net logon parsing on the account lockouts • Strong knowledge on metadata cleanup, domain controller placement on the disaster scenarios • In-depth knowledge on Active directory DNS, Stub zones, Secondary DNS and restore • In depth-knowledge on SRV records, Conditional forwarders, root hints and DNS scavenging procedures • Strong Knowledge on DNSSEC and Global Name Zones • Strong Knowledge on Forest and Domain DNS zones • Good knowledge on AD Backup and restore using Recycle Bin including single Object restore • In depth knowledge on GPO’s/GPP’s analysing ,planning and designing • Good Knowledge on starter GPO’s and Fine Grain policies • In depth knowledge on trusts and terminology • Strong analysing skill on the Active directory infrastructure and provide inputs on the industry standards • Good knowledge on FSMO holders and multi master role holders • In-depth knowledge on Authentication protocols, users and workstation authentication procedures • Good Knowledge on DFS, DFS-N • Good knowledge on DHCP,IP-Helpers, NFS,RRAS • Firewall Rule to secure connections to Tier 0 systems • Microsoft Policy analyser v3.1 • Windows Firewall Configuration • Bit locker Encryption for drives • Networking Security • Windows 2012R2/Windows 2016 Authentication Polices and Silos • AD Auditing • Secure Boot Installation • Security focused AD Operation experience o Clean source policy and OS installation o PAW (Privilege Access Workstation) o Pass the Hash(PtH) and Pass the Ticket (PtT) mitigations o Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET) o Securing Hyper-V Host Folders o Security Mitigation and vulnerability
You will be successful in this role if you have:
• University degree or equivalent education and experience • Minimum of 5 years relevant experienceAdvanced knowledge in one of the technologies relating to enterprise systems, networks, backup, storage, cloud or a customer proprietary, COTS, or Unisys application. Have specific certifications on the respective domain, platform or application. •Ability to support multiple clients/ technologies as part of shared support delivery. •Must be client focused, display interpersonal skills and be an effective team member. •Ability to train and develop staff and/or client.
