The position is based in Pune, India. Database Developer with strong analytical and technical ability with 0-3 years of experience in SQL/No-SQL database/ETL Development. Able to work independently, good communication skills

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities
Gather requirements and business process knowledge in order to transform the data in a way that’s geared towards the needs of end users
Maintain and improve already existing processes
Ensure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainable
Work with the business in designing and delivering correct, high quality data
Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users and propose adequate solutions
Write technical design and testing documents and provide innovative technical solutions.
Qualifications:
0-3 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Desired Skills:
SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc.) as well as an understanding of database structure
Knowledge of data modeling principles
Knowledge of ETL tool like Talend.
Knowledge of various SQL/NoSQL data storage mechanisms
High attention to detail
Knowledge of Application servers – Weblogic/Tomcat, RDBMS – SQL Server/ Oracle is an added advantage.
Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL database is an added advantage
Passionate about complex data structures and problem solving
Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
