Here’s what you can expect to be doing…

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated assistant to work with the Facilities Management Team to ensure that all issues relating to Facilities on site are dealt with quickly, safely and efficiently and comply with current regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities will be:
To provide efficient administrative support, including creation of purchase requisitions, vendor creation and contractor induction documentation. Organise, attend and take minutes of formal Facilities meetings

To provide proactive and varied assistance on business projects, including promoting the improvement of department procedures and propose and implement new procedures where appropriate

To assist with the management and coordination of site facilities issues

Complete varied facilities activities, including light manual handling of deliveries/goods, transporting these across all Sheffield sites to support the business needs

To challenge, understand and compare quotations from contractors

Assist with the invoicing and query process by ensuring accurate working and good records keeping

Provision of management information and reporting data & KPI’s to key stakeholders, when required

What you’ll need to succeed:
Strong administrative support skills

Knowledge of administrative & general office procedures

Be organised, methodical and accurate in your approach

Extensive IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Have a dedicated and hardworking attitude

Ability to adapt quickly to the changing needs of the business

Full UK Driving Licence

Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A off the M1
