Process Overview
Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.
Job Description*
The Roles is for Software developer in Credit Trade Tools. Ideal candidate would be around 10-15 years’ experience with good technical experience in Python. Experience in Market Making and Trading analytics will be an added advantage. Candidate will work in an agile team to provide business solution for the Trader tools applications and closely work with traders and business people across all global locations. Candidate will work on enhancements to existing systems and build new systems/functions specific to the front office trader tools applications along with Business and work closely with the development team/s to ensure tech solutions are aligned to requirements.
Responsibilities*Design, develop, test and document scalable, highly reliable, enterprise global systems in a structured, disciplined, and fast-moving environment in Quartz and Hadoop Framework.End to end development responsibilities for tasksDevelop within a controlled process including design and code reviews.Support the production environment, assist in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents, and maintain the stability and integrity of systemsInteract and collaborate with global tech teams
Requirements*
Education* Bachelors/Master degree in computer science or engineering
Certifications If Any
Experience Range* 10-15 years
Foundational skills*
Strong in any of Python/ Java / React JS programming.
Strong in basic data structures and algorithms
Strong in OOP concepts and Design Patterns
Must be a self-starter, excellent communication skills.
Ability to work with agile methodology.
Relevant Credit Derivatives experience in CDS, Bond ,CDSI Pricing.
10+ years professional experience developing reactive, SPA web applications-ReactJS preferred
Excellent core JavaScript knowledge
Good knowledge in Asynchronous communication with performance oriented UI development in a component based approach
Familiar with advanced JavaScript concepts and design patterns
Understanding of coding best practices, styles
Broad exposure and usage of existing libraries, frameworks and quality based tools
Expertise building complex screens using HTML5 markup
Desired skills
Quartz Programming
Experience maintaining Front End build tool chains – Grunt, Gulp
Familiarity with Scala, Java, or other server-side development languages
industry (banking middle/back office) experience
