Job Description : Market leading Building and Construction company are seeking an ambitious Finance assistant to join their finance function on a part time basis. The role offers an excellent opportunity to progress within the business.
As the Finance Assistant, you will report to the Financial Accountant and assist with the day 2 day processing of the finance function.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
Accurately processing invoicesTrack invoices against budget and contractPrepare payment proposalsBank payments in SageReconcile supplier statementsDeal with ad hoc supplier queries
Assist with other ad hoc finance duties including but not limited to posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations and dealing with audit queries
To be considered for this position the requirements are as follows:
Minimum of a years experience working within a finance function is essentialGreat knowledge of MS ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work using own initiativeAbility to work within a team or autonomously
