Job Description : Finance Operations Manager being hired for brand name Telecoms business in Berkshire!
£60,000 – £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits + flexible working
Stanton House are partnering with a household Telecoms business who are looking to hire a Finance Operations Managers to join their successful team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial results reported for 3 business sections in the P&L and Balance sheet, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of the month end timetable. This role is suitable for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant in a top10 accounting firm looking for their first move into industry or someone who has gained industry experience in a large matrix organisation as a Financial Accountant or Financial Reporting Manager.
To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:
A professional Finance qualification (ACA/ACCA)
Telecoms industry, otherwise experience of working in a large matrix organisation
Experience of reporting and financial controls
Presence and the ability to influence at all levels
Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment
Strong commercial acumen and desire to succeed
A little more information about the role:
End to end accountability for the financial statements and the delivery of month end close in the agreed timetable.
Responsible for calculating and posting accrual adjustments, agreeing overlays with Commercial Finance teams where relevant.
Reconciling hardware billing and ensuring accurate revenue reporting.
Communicating detailed analysis of the results to the business including Finance Decision Support and Commercial Management
Work closely with Finance Decision Support to ensure confidence in the Finance Operations numbers and provide insight.
Review and approve balance sheets to ensure consistency and integrity; maintaining an accurate and up to date risks & opportunities listing for financial reporting teams.
