SUMMARY
SAP AI Foundation is the central vehicle for SAP internal teams, customers & partners to manage & extend SAP’s offerings with AI Capabilities. The application development is based on microservices architecture leveraging containerization concepts, SAP Business Technology Platform, open source technologies, hyperscalers integration and the best in class CI/CD and DevOps practices.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a motivated and talented Full Stack Developer (Or Sr. Developer) who’d join us on our exciting and fast track journey to deliver impactful features as part of SAP AI Foundation. While coding will be your core task, developing software at SAP is much more than just that. It’s a team effort, including designing our products for the end user/customers, delivering our services efficiently and fast, in time and in quality. In this role you will:
Design and develop new features through design, coding, testing and documentation following agile principles
Show technical leadership in the team and play as ‘Trusted Advisor’ role to the developers on technology topics.
Inspire, influence and guide team members to accomplish the team’s technical goals.
Effective change management on projects by assessing the impact of any new requirements on the project scope & timelines.
Take accountability of realizing picked backlogs while leveraging available expertise, research and collaborative ideation techniques
Balance trade-offs among product value, design, and technological constraints.
ROLE REQUIREMENT
Over 5 years of experience in the industry which includes Full Stack development experience
Frontend development expertise using SAP UI5, JavaScript/ Typescript
Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Node.js
Experience in REST API Implementation & microservices based architecture
Exposure to cloud-based development using Cloud Foundry, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure or other container/PaaS environments
Excellent communication, social and organizational skills
