We’ve had a BIG impact on little people, making 3.5 million kids smile so far… and counting.Australia might be our Moose family home, but with a 500-strong team dotted across the world, we’re committed to sharing our signature superhappy revolution far and wide!Visit www.moosetoys.com for more information on our amazing brands and peopleToday, Moose Toys is on the hunt for a Global Brand Manager.Role ObjectivesPlay an active role in the two year product development cycle including the brand direction outline, the financial management of the brand and allocated marketing budget.Develop and implement annual global brand plans for portfolio.Work in close alignment with US, Australian and Export marketing teams to ensure production of assets and content supports global launch plans.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Planning – Brand & ProductIn conjunction with Global Senior Brand Manager (GSBM) identify market gaps based on intimate understanding of retailer and competitor activity.Work closely with product team and GSBM to define line plan architectureSupport GSBM drive BDO (brand direction outline) process and ensure all internal stakeholders are in agreement.Participate in the development of seasonal or exclusive product line that work for multiple markets. Ensure item meets margin and volume expectations.Identify where cost efficiencies can be gained (product, marketing program etc.A demonstrated ability to assimilate into a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.Play an active role in scoping and strategy of digital ecosystem for brand portfolio.Drive annual budget planning for brand portfolio and ensure monthly maintenance and reporting is done on time.Support GSBM with PNL management for your brand portfolio.Drive analysis of target pricing, margin and seasonal forecasts to aid discussions around the brand PNL each season.Deliver seasonal concept, model review decks & sales summit presentation decks /sizzles.CommunicationRegular and consistent communication to US, AUS, EXPORT partners re:product development status in line with Milestone Stage Gates -brand plans, assets and global strategies to implement -timely updates re any changes to line plan or price -Ensuring all internal planning tools are kept up to date.Timely feedback to external agencies and internal stakeholders.Timely management of GLC (Global Launch Calendar) each season.MarketingExplore opportunities where brands can be launched and supported across multiple markets simultaneously. Support international markets with launch plan and assets.In collaboration with Brand Team and GSBM, create global brand plan including global objective and strategies. Developed seasonally with input from lead market.Ensure TVC and content briefs are completed on time and with sign off from key partners. Work closely with Producer to ensure on time delivery.Drive the Integrated Communications Brief and ensure key Design Leads and Art Directors are engaged in the process.Management end to end of marketing assets.Work closely with Content Manager to identify the short and long term role of entertainment for brands in portfolio.Work collaboratively with US, AUS and EXPORT to ensure there is a robust trade strategy including point of purchase material.Develop digital eco system; work across multiple brands to drive digital and social led content strategies including the briefing process and execution.Build robust relationships with key external agency partners – app/game developers, media partners and global social – to deliver impactful and cost effective programs that all territories can leverage/ localise;Forge strong partnership with US/AUS/Export key brand team to plan and agree key asset list for brands each season and support with brand updates.Manage internal focus group research.Frequent post analysis conducted and communicated.Keep informed of all regulations re marketing to children in key markets such as US, UK, Australia.Key CapabilitiesStrategic ThinkingWorks strategically to realise organisational goals; sets and develops strategies; identifies, develops positive and compelling visions of the organisation’s future potential; takes account of wide range of issues across, and related to, the organisation.Relating and NetworkingCreating win-win partnerships with others.
