This role is very much hands-on, requiring attention to detail and a positive work attitude as the Head Chef will be in charge of a large team and a busy kitchen in a bustling venue open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.~~~~~FROTHWe value integrity, community, teamwork, honesty and fostering career advancement.Froth Craft Brewery opened in Exmouth, north-west W.A, in February 2017 and we’re “froth-chising”/expanding with our second venue being newly built in the heart of Bunbury, providing the city’s highly anticipated inaugural microbrewery, set to open in June 2022. Froth in Exmouth is a multi award-winning venue that has outgrown its capabilities to meet demand; so we are expanding with a new family-friendly venue in Bunbury and seeking an experienced and energetic Head Chef willing to grab the reins of a bigger venue and guide Froth on to further success in the south.Froth Craft Bunbrewery aims to follow in Exmouth’s footsteps and hit the ground running by setting a high standard for consistently high quality food and beverage experiences – and standards are maintained from the top down – we are searching for a passionate, creative leader to take on the Head Chef role. Froth’s kitchens love influences from around the globe but seek products locally; share plates, dude food, nutritious and varietal dishes will spread across a seasonally changing menu that will complement a diverse range of craft beers brewed on-site. The service will be fast paced and the atmosphere matching. To support the Head Chef, we’re assembling an experienced and supportive Senior Management team along with an eclectic mix of professional staff hungry to provide a memorable hospitality experience.~~~~~To be equipped for the challenging yet rewarding Head Chef role, you need to;- Have proven extensive experience in a similar role (breweries prioritised); we need someone who can consistently hit the financial and culinary targets which the role requires- Have the right attitude within the role; being able to converse with all staff and guests in a positive and proactive manner- Lead by example and inspire your colleagues to produce their best efforts~~~~~Duties and responsibilities:- Control and direct the food preparation process and other related activities- Construct seasonal menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety, consistency and high quality of the servings- Ensure dishes are being presented optimally before they leave the Pass- Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages- Arrange for repairs when necessary- Remedy any problems or defects- Oversee recruitment, managing and training of kitchen staff- Oversee the work of subordinates and liaise with Senior Management- Liaise regularly with directors and front-of-house management- Estimate staff’s workload and compensations- Forecast and control kitchen staff wages; manage rostering on the Deputy App- Maintain the current HACCAP and cleaning schedules, managing the data base as required by council law- Maintain a safe work environment for all staff and minimise potential hazards- Foster a supportive climate of co-operation and respect between co-workers~~~~~In return, you will receive;- Creative control of the kitchen, in a highly anticipated venue in a burgeoning company which is on the path to great heights- Total support from all other Senior Management and Managing Directors- Adequate remuneration for the role plus benefits- A supportive Senior Management team and kitchen brigade whom are willing and able to consistently perform alongside an exemplary leader- Training and development opportunities~~~~~This is an opportunity for the right candidate to excel in a crucial Head Role of a company that invests in people, fostering creativity and maintaining consistently high standards.Yours frothfully,Froth Craft BunbreweryExpected Start Date: 01/05/2022Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountFree drinksFree foodSupplementary Pay:Performance bonusCOVID-19 considerations:All candidates must comply with current Western Australian laws regarding Co-vid 19 vaccination(s).Application Question(s):Are you able to start work in early May 2022?Experience:Head Chef: 2 years (Required)Language:Fluent English (Required)Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Remotely:No
