Get to know the role:
We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to lead branding and marketing for all of Grab’s transport, logistics, and Jabo Platform Growth. You will be reporting to the Country Marketing Head to outserve Grab ID’s most valuable consumers.
In 2021, this role primarily supports user and spend growth in some of Grab’s largest businesses – Transport national marketing, Logistics national marketing, and specific marketing initiatives targeted at Jabo specifically. The area of responsibility will go beyond normal campaign development and require the marketing lead to deeply understand insights into unmet consumer needs and outserve these customers.
Key Scope responsibilities :
1. [Out-insight our competition] -> Work closely with Marketing Analytics, Market Research, Demand Planning, Digital and Social teams to uncover insights into unmet customer needs, and funnel conversion opportunities
2. [Out-serve Grab ID’s most valuable consumer segments] The lead will need to apply these insights to co-creating (together with the operations team) new and differentiated Reasons To Use beyond what exists today
3.[ Drive, orchestrate 360 GTM User Acquisition, Spend growth & Retention] -> Lead go-to-market strategy for brand campaigns across different channels. Win over the share of wallet from the competition, increase revenue thru the combination of levers to improve frequency, AOV and retention
4. Hyperlocal execution excellence – Because the scope covers both national and Jabo-specific marketing, this role also requires the ability to break down high-level marketing strategy into city-by-city and sometimes district-by-district level tactics and GTMs.
The Must-HavesMinimum 8 years work experience for e-commerce, B2C or D2C companies with GTM, consumer acquisition, and digital channels campaigns and social media outreachExperience with brand building and marketing, should know how to develop and communicate the personality of a consumer brandManagement experience with the ability to leverage a small team to deliver resultsExperience with online digital sales channels and on-demand marketplace models preferredExperience with digital agencies for social media executionConfidence and comfort with numbers to persuade and collaborate with very senior stakeholdersAbility to work independently and deal effectively with complex and ambiguous environments.Structured thought process and strong analytical ability, and experience with operational executionStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively network within the industry and Grab functionsAmbitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Should have a deep desire to excel and develop a career in a fast-growing tech company. Should have demonstrated integrity and respect in the performance of their duties.
