As our Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will have overall responsibility for leading the financial planning and analysis team. You will manage, drive and report on the Group’s financial performance.
Your key duties as our Head of Financial Planning and Analysis will include:
Supporting the Executive/Board to preserve the integrity of the Business Operating Model and ensure the Group maintains appropriate financial performance metrics
Developing a deep understanding of the core businesses within the group and key drivers of their business performance
Leading the business annual budget and three-year operating plan process from a financial perspective
Leading forecasting and monthly management reporting across the Business
Building a strong and collaborative relationship with the Group Finance team
Delivering ad hoc projects and analysis to the CFO/Executive and the Board
Driving and leading appropriate culture and values across the Finance function and the Business
Recruiting, training and developing high calibre employees within budget and headcount levels
Coaching, mentoring and developing direct reports, holding regular one-to-one’s
Working with the HR Business Partner and the Finance Leadership Team to develop a culture of performance management, improvement and appraisal
Managing all departmental HR issues
Ensuring that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required

What we are looking for in our ideal Head of Financial Planning and Analysis:
A qualified Accountant
5 – 10 years’ post qualified experience
An Invoice Finance background
Experience of developing and improving a strategic FP&A function
A high level of commercial awareness
Demonstrable leadership skills
A recognised professional accountancy qualification
The ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience of leading a commercial team
Exceptional Excel/modelling skills
The ability to quantify and visualise large quantities of data
Motivated to achieve strict deadlines and milestones
The ability to adapt within a fast-paced environment with a dynamic and flexible mindset
