Right now, we’re looking for a caring and organised individual to join us as a Housekeeping Assistant at Amberley Court Care Home in Edgbaston to help us be the positive difference to our resident’s lives.

Working hours and salary
£10.10 per hour – £11.10 Overtime rate
Should you be successfully hired into this role, we are pleased to be able to offer you a one-off Starter Bonus of £500 as a thank you for deciding to join Bupa Care Services. The Starter Bonus will be paid to you in the next available pay run once you have completed four weeks’ service and will be subject to deductions for tax and NI. Ts &Cs Apply.
20 hours per week

What your typical day involves
You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff
Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms
You’ll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.

Just outside of Edgbaston near Cannon Hill Park, Amberley Court provides care to those living with a physical disability or those in need of specialist nursing and rehabilitation care for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Huntington’s and acquired brain or spinal injuries.
