About the role
Reporting to the Group People & Culture Manager, you will provide day-to-day HR generalist admin, support, and advice from “hire to retire” and everything in between.
Guiding people leaders on employee performance, development and retention, discussing team structures and future plans.
Coordinating and launching Learning & Development programs and a People Leader Forum across the global Equiem team.
Developing and facilitating HR presentations, including our monthly APAC Company Team Meeting.
Using people data and market insights to develop and update our policies and processes, including P&P, benefits, WH&S across the globe!
Some interstate travel may be required. These are sporadic but you will need to be available at short notice.
About You
Whether you are an experienced HR professional looking for a change, or you are ready to take on more responsibility, you are always open to learn something new. A true people person, you enjoy bouncing off ideas and collaborating with your team, but you are self sufficient and autonomous, and can take ownership of your role when required.
Tertiary education in HR or business related field, with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Ability to apply critical thinking to basic BAU decision making, using sound judgement to balance the risk/reward consequences to the business.
Detail oriented, you can convey clarity and direction in a fast paced, ambiguous and ever changing environment.
Commercial acumen, with the ability to manage relationships and have difficult conversations, while focusing on the bigger picture.
Knowledge of relevant employment law, awards and legislation. If you have experience in the US and UK employment landscape, we definitely want to hear from you!
