What success looks like in this role:
Timely development of application functionalities
Good team work with other development teams, solution architects, testing teams, and with client teams.
In this role you will:
Be responsible for building Spring based Java application.
Develop different functionalities of the spring boot application which interacts with MQ to exchange messages.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Support testing teams for test preparation & execution, fix defects from testing.
Tools and Technologies you will use:
Java 8, spring boot(1 and 2), JMS, JBoss Application server, Active MQ, Github, Maven, Microsoft Word, Excel, Unisys internal tools.
Team environment –
Work closely with the Architect & Senior Developer, Unisys SMEs & testing teams.
Client facing role.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors’ or Master’s Degree in Engineering
Minimum year’s relevant experience required. 6+ years of IT experience with 2+ Years in a Document/Configuration/Quality Manager role.
Key Skills –
Experience of developing & implementing the document management plan, and configuration management system.
Experience of developing & implementing the quality management system for the project.
Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
Experience in using at least one Document management tools such as Oracle Aconex, IBM FileNet, Docuware, Docushare, zoho docs.
Good knowledge of Quality standards such as ISO, CMMi etc.
Good knowledge of SDLC, Agile development and testing cycles
Experience with large construction/IT systems implementation projects preferred
Experience of working in complex client facing projects with multiple stakeholders
Experience working with vendors/sub-contractors (optional)
Excellent presentation & communication skills
