Description:
Position is responsible for overseeing the people who lead internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Managing and prioritizing the project stream, working with internal customers to determine project definition and business requirements. Providing budget analysis, resource allocation and coordination of project activities that may be across functional areas within the organization.

Manages professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex technical or business support or operations team(s). Is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers. Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position.

Managing a team of staff, including programmers, analysts and support specialists.
Evaluating the functionality of systems.
Consulting computer users to ascertain needs and to ensure that facilities meet user or project requirements.
Selecting and purchasing appropriate hardware and software.
Managing IT budgets.
Ensuring software licensing laws are followed.
