Job Description : Production experience on AWS is a must
Rotational shifts 24 x 7 and excellent command on verbal & written English
Must have experience with Linux (Oracle Linux ,RHEL, and Centos) and VM
Maintains computing environment by identifying Linux system requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring system performance.
Must have OS level SAN Experience. Qlogic HBAs, OS multipathing including PowerPath and multipathd
Hands on experience with Redhat Satellite Server/Spacewalk Server Configuration & Management
Scripting knowledge in any of BASH/Perl or Python
Be able to work in a team-oriented support environment of OS services and systems
OEL/RHEL kick start experience a plus, Oracle RAC experience a plus
Exposure to any of the Databases – Oracle, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Excellent command over Storage – SAN, NAS, DAS and NetApp
Hands on experience on VMWare ESX platform (VMWare ESX 3.x VSphere 4.1 and Esxi) are desirable.
Understanding of Server/Network Security
Exposure to HA – LVS,HA Proxy,Redhat Cluster
Good knowledge on Amazon services is desirable.
Core Linux Systems administration Networking (TCP/IP, DNS)
Knowledge on server backup technologies.
Manage hierarchical escalations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong customer focus Strong multi-tasking skills
Self-starter who is excited about technology Troubleshooting / Support experience
