Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTION
SYNOPSIS
Group Internal Audit (GIA) is an independent function established by Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk -based and objective assurance, advise and insights by performing regular audits. The Analytics & Automation team is involved in providing support for audit, investigation and advisory arms of GIA, through the development of RPAs, data analysis, building of dash boards and apps, and the drive towards data mining and AI.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Understand the roles & responsibilities of Internal Audit
2. Work with internal auditors to understand the business/IT audits & identify analytics opportunities.
3. Work with Analytics team to create visualizations using various BI tools and embed them into Mobile Apps.
4. Work with Analytics team to build machine learning models like clustering, classification, NLP, OCR for different use cases.
5. Build data pipelines to extract & transform the source data and deploy the ML models on the Cloud platform like Azure, AWS.
6. Work with analytics team to build a web portal for the group internal audit department.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Candidate should have picked up business communication skills working with auditors and analytics team.
2. Strong understanding of how business analytics can be applied and integrated into Internal Audit function.
3. Strong hands on skills on Python, SQL and BI visualization tools.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor / Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics or Information Technology)
2. Candidates should have strong knowledge on programming languages like Python, R, Scala and strong database SQL skills.
3. Knowledge on BI visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI and capable of effective story telling skills.
4. Knowledge on Machine Learning models, NLP, Mobile app development, Web page design skills would be added advantage.
5. Creative, resourceful, analytical & good interpersonal skills and able to work in a diverse environment.
6. Able to commit 6 months internship
