The Position

This exciting role in Ashnik’s consulting team brings great opportunity to design and deploy Kubernetes platform solution for Ashnik’s enterprise customers spread across SEA and India. This role takes a lead in consulting the customers for adoption of Kubernetes platform for their Digital Transformation journey.

Experience and skills required
Overall 8+ Years’ experience in IT with 3+ years’ experience working as Pre-Sales/ Technical Sales / Technical Solution Architect role
Graduate from Engineering or equivalent
Experience working in IT infrastructure background specially with Open-source Software
Experience with Cloud native containers and Kubernetes orchestration is required
Experience in tools like spinnaker, Jenkins or equivalent required
Experience with container and orchestration technology of azure / gap is required
Experience with Automation tools like ansible, terraform etc. will be added advantage
Expertise on Linux and container technologies is required
Experience in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform is highly desirable
Shell scripting skills are required
Experience and skills required
Certification in Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Developer (CKA/CKD) is desired
Certification in AWS/Azure/GCP will add advantages
Experience working in the BFSI domain is an advantage

This role requires high degree of self-initiative, working with diversified teams and working with customers spread across Southeast Asia and India region. This role requires you to be pro-active in communicating with customers and internal teams about industry trends, technology development and creating thought leadership.
Responsibilities
Consulting for Kubernetes architecting, deployment in very complex application development and deployment
You will be able to consult for Kubernetes and container monitoring and security of large deployment
To lead the consultative discussions to identify challenges for the customers, suggest right fit open-source components and suggest appropriate Kubernetes platform
To create consulting work packages and assist sales team to position them to enterprise customers
To prepare detailed SOW for the project and get customer’s concurrence for it
To lead the implementation and get customer sign-off
Mentoring technical solution and implementation to the delivery team
Actively participate in technical marketing such as leading webinars, blogs required
Focus on customer centric solutions and come up with right fit solutions
Create technical proposals to meet the customer requirements
