In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications, US:
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Bachelor’s degree in Computers or Electronics with 7-9 Years of Networking /Network Automation Experience
Act as senior TM and work closely with various LoB, stakeholders to understand requirements, define and develop appropriate solutions for Network Automation.
Primary area of contribution would be network administration and development of work flow Automation for Compliance ,configuration mgmt. and software code control in highly complex network environment.
Development of standards to govern the deployment of Network Automation solutions and services within core network based on best practices and model driven approach.
Good understanding of Networking protocols and Arista/Cisco latest product line – ISR, ASR, Nexus , Cisco ACI Fabric and Infrastructure Automation management using Ansible is highly desirable
Should be experienced in writing template – Jinja / YAML /Python along hands on experience in Orchestration platforms, Ansible configuration , Writing playbooks etc.
Experience in Git, Jira, Jenkins usage and integrations.
Familiar with Network products/technologies – TCP/IP , OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, SSL, DNS, Routing,Switching etc
Desired Qualifications:
7-9 years of experience designing LAN/WAN/Wireless solutions for large enterprises with the experience with configuration of Cisco Wireless , Routing and Switching latest platforms and solutions
5+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, YAML, Java, or PL-SQL
4+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
4+ years of experience with Linux OS environment
3+ years of experience with source coding in one or a combination of the following: GitHub, SVN(Subversion), TFVC (Team Foundation Version Control) or TFSGit (Team Foundation Server.
Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
Experience with creating and or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams
Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel and Visio Professional
Must be self-driven and able to work with little supervision and direction

About the Role

It’s an exciting time to be a part of Wells Fargo’s Network Engineering Services organization. This senior network automation engineer position will help drive ongoing automation transformation activities supporting configuration/drift management, IOS/patch management, asset lifecycle management, and reporting. In this role you will be a key contributor to ongoing NetDevOps efforts by working with various network partners to drive positive change using agile and process improvement methodologies. A high level of ownership and accountability will be critical in this role as will problem solving and creativity focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Provide technical support and consultation associated with all network systems along define and develop appropriate solutions for Network Automation. Execute changes into the above environments via the WF change control process outside of business hours, assist on mitigating risk for the enterprise by proactively addressing capacity problems or system related issues under guidance of Network Services Management, as well as Wells Fargo enterprise standards and policies. Assist teams in technical problem resolution and change implementation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Requirements gathering, design, development, test, release for automation scripts/processes in Python/Ansible
Creating/modifying/automating the operational reports
Establishing system / data integrations to enhance existing or establish new processes
Utilizing Ansible orchestration and Python scripting to simplify high volume and/or high risk tasks for business partners
