Introduction:

Tercel is the in-house FX reporting system. Supporting the business globally, it has a range of upstream and downstream interfaces giving connectivity to internal and external systems handling (among others); trade booking, regulatory reporting, confirmations, settlements and clearing (client and dealer).
At any time, there are multiple streams of work going on within Tercel, so we are looking for a developer with significant experience who has worked across multiple projects and systems in their current or previous roles – preferably in banking (although candidates from other industries will also be considered). This person needs to be someone who is articulate, and can communicate technical solutions clearly to other developers and technical leads, as well as Project Managers. They should be keen to join a team which is expanding and delivering excellent technology solutions.

What will you be doing?
Contribute to analysis of requirement, preparing design, implementation and releasing the software.
Contribute to development of applications with continuous focus on Quality, Performance and Resiliency.
Adhering to code check-in /check-out policies, ensuring code is unit tested.
Timely and correctly communicating the status of the work, participating in estimation.
Ensure adherence to coding and quality standards and contribution activities.
Supporting UAT, Production systems.
Foster continuous process improvement through the use of best practices and agile methodology.

What we’re looking for:
C++: Must have extensive experience of writing multithreaded server applications on Windows and Linux.
Must have worked on multi-tier service oriented enterprise systems using messaging for inter service communication and request/response/broadcast to the GUI.
Experience of source code repository systems and multi-branched development. Exposure of GIT, GITHUB, Team City.
XML: XML Document Processing, XSD, XSLT
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or equivalent

Skills that will help you in the role:
Middleware: Experience of using middleware messaging components such as Tibco, Talarian, Solace or MQ.
An understanding of FX products and trading flows (e.g. clearing, e-trading STP).
Experience with writing SQL queries/ PL-SQL with Oracle databases
C++: Experience with Boost C++ Libraries, Google Test, Unit Testing & Mock Objects
Nice to have experience in AWS, DevOps, Chefs, Nolio, CI/CD
Any experience with other programming languages (C#, Java, Python)
