Job Description : Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working in partnership with a successful and growing business based in Sheffield as they look to appoint a knowledgeable & committed Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
This will be a varied role, where the post holder will have significant responsibility, including liaising with a number of advisors across the EU and US so any Business Partnering experience would be desired.
The successful candidate will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in as they will be expected to provide extensive support with the month end / management accounts processes whilst providing strong analytical insight to the wider business to inform strategic decision making.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the purpose of the role is to provide accurate reporting to the business on a weekly / monthly basis. Role Responsibilities:
Production of monthly management accounts
Assisting in the production of Board KPI packs
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Project accounting
Control / review of the recurring sales cycle and reconcile to Commercial Reports
Cost control – Reconciliation of direct costs and overheads
Reconciliation of Commission Statements
Production of monthly client direct debit runs
Essential Skills & Experience:
Part qualified CIMA or ACCA
Previous experience of management accounts preparation and reporting
Budgeting / forecasting experience
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication skills
