Job Description : PRIMARY DETAIL
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Manager, International Admissions to join our dynamic team.

Salary: From $125,106 – $132,132 p.a. (HEW Level 9), plus 17% supernation and annual leave loading
Appointment type: Full-time, continuing (Flexible work arrangements, including part -time, job share, flexible start and finish times or work from home will be considered for this role)
Location: Macquarie University (North Ryde)
THE ROLE
In this role, you will manage, lead and provide escalated advice, support and assessment of Undergraduate and Postgraduate coursework admissions and Pathways admissions in accordance with University policy and procedure, and relevant legislative and government requirements.
Reporting into the Head of Admissions and Scholarships Shared Services role, you will:
Manage teams of direct reports and cultivate an environment that promotes respect, accountability, quality service and fosters initiative, innovation, professional development and continuous improvement.
Manage end to end operational admissions processing teams ensuring the compliant application of the University’s admission and scholarship policies, procedures, relevant standards and legislation relating to Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Pathways for international and domestic students.
Manage and continuously improve admissions processing procedures ensuring compliance, reporting, student customer service and Faculty service levels are maintained.
Manage and lead a team of Admissions staff ensuring training and professional development and growth, workload, workforce planning and resourcing are adequate to meet the admissions needs of the University.
Collaborate with the Head of Admissions and Scholarships to engage with Faculties, Offices and other internal stakeholders, prospective students, Agents and external providers regarding admission eligibility, processing and communications for all coursework admission.
Manage complex admissions issues, providing expert knowledge and decision making to ensure effective and efficient resolution in accordance with University policy and applicable legislation.
Other Specific Requirements
May be required to attend meetings, presentations, and other work related activities out of normal work hours and/or on weekends from time to time, with notice and by agreement.
Will undertake work, and lead teams focused across international and/or domestic markets. Specific tasks undertaken in each team may vary.

You will have the ability to build and manage partnerships with internal, external, domestic and international stakeholders using acute advocacy and clear communication skills. You will have outstanding communication skills, strong experience in managing complex, high volume administration functions.

Degree or extensive equivalent experience.
Deep knowledge and experience of International (and preferably also Domestic) Admissions business processes, legislation, regulations.
Experience providing leadership and direction in the operationalisation of strategy to deliver high-quality and innovative services.
Experience leading, managing and developing a diverse, high performing and service-oriented team
Experience building and sustaining effective stakeholder partnerships to deliver high quality services within service level expectations/agreements.
Experience leading organisational change within a large, complex organisation.
