Job Description : The School of Computer Science and Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, is looking for a senior and competent professional for the AHEAD- CS programs in the post of Manager (Student Affairs) . The candidates are expected to be with strong communication skills, ability to multi-task and manage student concerns and contribute to the highly interdisciplinary, collaborative, innovative culture of the university.

Responsibilities

Monitor student progress individually from the phase of admission till the degree is issued. Maintain a track record for the same.
Continuous monitoring of the student progress and guide the Advisors in decision making.
Maintain track record of student-course registration: opting out of the course, batch switches, self-paced options’ etc. Coordinate with advisors and keep the educational programs running with a tracking data.
Continuous communication with senior management and academic forums; and help in managerial decision making.
Responsible for the organization of examinations, schedule, and smooth operation of the same.
Implement actions that improve the quality and standard of education.
Frame policies and guidelines for the students to adhere by.
Help shape and uphold the vision of the University.

Qualification

MBA or B.Tech. / M. Tech. in CS
Minimum 5 year of experience in related disciplines and learning methods is plus point. The rank of the appointment will depend on experience and qualifications.
