You:
The Marketing Automation Specialist will play a critical role in supporting one of the most data driven Marketing departments in B2B SaaS. This role’s time will be divided between Marketo and Salesforce.com, responsible for building marketing automation programs and reporting on Marketing performance, administrating and improving our department’s use of Salesforce.com.
What we want you to do:
Collaborate with teams to support lead nurture, lead scoring, event promotion, and data management.
Produce and QA marketing campaign assets including emails, landing pages, and forms using existing templates, as well as creating email and landing page templates to spec.
Segment and analyze prospect database to target campaigns.
Maintain marketing program calendar and execute on-time programs.
Develop and execute A/B testing strategy to continuously improve program performance.
Translate project requirements into workable, scalable solutions.
Provide reporting and dashboarding support for the Field Marketing team to help them understand demand within their region.
Ensure executed programs meet geography-specific compliance regulations.
Analyze firmographic data sources and bulk update Salesforce.com with the most accurate information, as well as QA marketing data to ensure accurate reporting and decision making.
Create workflows and automated email alerts to make the Sales Development team more efficient.
Analyze lead flow to ensure effective and timely follow-up.
Research best practices and constantly innovate to improve performance.
Basic Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in Marketing or Business Management.
2 years of experience with Marketo or other Marketing Automation Platform.
1 year of experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems, preferably as a system administrator.
Solid understanding of email marketing (compliance, deliverability, A/B split testing, etc.).
Advanced Excel knowledge (vlookups, If statements, etc.).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a cross functional team.
Not required, but good to have some PPM tool experience such as Workfront/Wrike/others or experience with Project Management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana.
Experience with mass data manipulation (via DemandTools preferred) is good to have but not required.
Effective communicator with an urgency to proactively communicate prior to issues on quality or timeliness.
