Your day to day
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of integrated marketing communications strategies, including public relations, partnerships, social media and digital marketing to achieve positive brand exposure, increase brand awareness and drive hotel’s performance and return. • Develop and deliver effective marketing communications and public relations strategies to improve brand presence, market share, guest engagement and loyalty, and drive revenue for rooms and food and beverage • Drive public relations strategy and activities to achieve quality press coverage through media engagement, write and disseminate press releases, manage media events and press trips, facilitate media interviews and monitor media coverage • Define social media strategy and campaigns to drive promotions, increase engagement and grow follower base • Manage social media and guest feedback forums and maintain online reputation with prompt response to IHG guest reviews and social media reviews • Plan, manage and execute digital marketing activities to optimize website performance and drive demand and bookings to Brand.com, measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns • Identify partnership opportunities and work with partners on joint promotional efforts to expand reach, increase awareness and drive revenue growth • Manage content on hotel’s marketing channels including hotel websites, social media, digital signages and in-room TV, ensuring that content is accurate, up-to-date and in line with brand standards • Maintain brand standards and ensure brand consistency • Undertake the production of marketing collaterals, coordinate and supervise filming and photo shoots • Effectively manage internal communications • Any other assignments as required
What we need from you
You are passionate and dynamic guest focused Marketing & Communication professional and you have ambition, talent and key skills. We’re looking for someone who will join our Sales & Marketing team and manage the end to end development & execution of marketing programs that will deliver results. Education and Experience • Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Business • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • A strong network of PR and media contacts would be highly advantageous • Strong knowledge of content development and SEM Hospitality experience preferred
