What you’ll be doing…

You will be managing a team of twelve to fourteen members and will be responsible for delivering tools & solutions for the core engineering organization according to the scheduled deadlines and within the allotted budget.
You will have the administrative and management responsibility of the team.
Perform project management activities such as planning, sizing, configuration and scheduling activities.
Lead technical teams to develop solutions and make decisions that impact projects and staff members.
Apply expert knowledge in design / developing technical applications and assignments.
Responsible for building a highly motivated and talented team, coaching and mentoring them to deliver high quality products and services
Partner and Interact with onshore counterparts to discuss existing and upcoming programs based on capacity.
Deliver reliable, secure software within the agreed on deadlines harnessing the strengths of Verizon and Vendor workforces.
Drive efficiency through automation and innovation, adopting emerging technology like AI/ML, RPA, and digital Bots.
What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:
A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in Java / J2EE, Springboot, Microservices, Front End Technologies (Angular / ReactJS), Postgres / Oracle.
Experience in SAFe / Agile methodologies, DevOps tool chain etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Even better if you have:
A degree.
Experience with Cloud technologies, Docker etc.
Experience managing global resources.
Experience with network technologies as well as relevant standards and procedures will be an added advantage.
Ability to coordinate assignments with other managers and develop project plans.
