Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Manages the overall work for a team of product engineers and is accountable for main team performanceMonitors and drives all individual and team performance goalsCoaches and develops product engineering employeesWorks to increase team efficiency and effectiveness to achieve long term goalsParticipates in hiring of new team membersPerforms any HR related tasksEnsures analysis of performance and development of improvements to performance of web application.Guides implementation of new web application software features and products following best practices such as authoring of unit tests, writing maintainable code, applying established patterns and algorithmsEnsures development of software to support internal initiatives, tools, update framework and application functionalityWork as part of an Agile SCRUM team in the planning, scoping, estimation and execution of technical solutions
10+ years’ experience in software engineer role1-3 year’s prior experience leading a teamBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies required, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferredKnowledge of current web client technologies including demonstrable proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, client MVCKnowledge of Java, Spring (IoC), Hibernate, JPA, JAX-RS.
CI/CD Devops good to have
Hands on in AI/ML, Spark, Hadoop, Casandra, AWS bigdata stack and Data Engineering etcProficient in SQL, Oracle experience a plusFamiliar with OWASP threats and mitigation techniquesStrong written and verbal communication skills
*Strong ability to work with current software design principles and concepts such as patterns, algorithms, data structures, dependency injection, MV**, SOA, n-tier architectureStrong ability to handle a heavy workload with multiple projects and frequent interruptionsStrong ability to work in a changing, dynamic environmentAbility to mentor and coach employees
