Description:
We are looking for a highly capable Node.js developer to optimise our web-based application performance. You will be collaborating with our front-end application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Skills Required:
3 to 7 years working in back-end web development.
At least 3 years of experience in NodeJS technology.
Experience with server-side templating languages like handlebars or ejs.
Solid experience in Express.js.
Experience building robust RESTful APIs.
Experience integration of third party API or WebServices.
Experience with relational or non-relational databases like MongoDB, MySQL
Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git.
Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently in projects.
Fluency in both oral and written English.
Solid Understanding of agile methodologies.
Good to have knowledge in microservice architecture and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Your responsibilities and challenges:
Design and develop software with a scalable and strong microservices orientation.
Work with other team members to devise the best possible technical solutions to complex problems.
Participate in the collection of requirements, give estimations, propose different approaches and make analysis documents.
Bring code quality and good practises, and perform deployment, validations and verification testing.
Stay up-to-date with open source trends and emerging technologies.
Teach and mentor fellow engineers, and work to foster an environment of development and inclusivity.
