Opportunity for LSS Offering Management Spcl to drive significant migration growth opportunities. As a member of the LSS Offering Management team, the incumbent will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and executing new migration growth strategies that modernize our vast customer installed base and expand our service business. These growth strategies will be developed through expert use of Voice of the Customer discussions to discern customer segments, economics [willingness to pay and cost to serve], competitive dynamics, targeting, development of offerings for each target segment, and collaborative development of all go-to-market approaches including channel, positioning, pricing and promotion.
The Role
Drive development and implementation of migration software, services, and hardware offerings that transform migrations from long-cycle periodic events to a value-driven “keep current” innovative service business
Align migrations to new services bundles (consistent with our strategic plans) tailored to specific markets and geographies
Support NPI (New Product Introduction) annual planning/budgeting cycle aligned to LSS Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for migrations.
Drive continual Observational / Voice of the Customer (OVOC / VOC) activities to validate market and segmentation understanding, anticipate and test customer needs
Identify target customers, use cases and “personas”, drive and own definition of migration/modernization Value Propositions and business case economics
Work closely with marketing communications to build brand and drive migration sales through demand generation activities (webinars, Migration Growth Campaign, HUG)
Contribute to value propositions, segmentation, sales tool kits, pipeline development activities, customer events, channel strategies and corporate account development planning
Promote migration/modernization value internally and externally through success stories and value documentation

We’re looking for
Position Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering or Technical field.
5-8 years of working experience including one or more roles in control systems:
Product design and/or testing
DCS/QCS project implementation
Industrial plant operations or maintenance
Experience working with operators, process control specialists, maintenance personnel, and industrial plant managers
Exposure to the complete product lifecycle, including NPI, portfolio management, sales forecasting/delivery, relationship management, etc.
Working experience and industry & domain knowledge in service programs for the industrial manufacturing markets.
The successful candidate will have strong influence, collaboration, and communication skills
Experience working within cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
Customer success and satisfaction-driven, competencies in Program / Project Management, Leadership, Results-Oriented.
Automation industry background with a solutions mindset
