We are looking for an energetic Performance Test engineer, who would be responsible for bringing in Scalability and Reliability improvements of the Product by conducting various performance testing required. You must be an excellent problem solver and communicator who is passionate about learning and implementing new tools and frameworks for bringing great Performance improvement for the product. You will be responsible for all the performance testing to be performed and deliver a high-geared product and exceed customer expectations. Roles & Responsibilities
Understand the Non-functional requirements and testing required for the Product.
Involved in designing, developing and Performance test plans for scenarios including scalability, benchmarking, and performance.
Responsible for creating and maintaining the test beds, test suites, test data, test cases that are required by the Performance Testing Group.
Design effective tests to check system performance and stability.
Run tests to validate Load, Scalability, Stability, and Reliability standards for the Product.
Bringing in innovations and robust automation with respect to the Non-functional testing wherever required for high availability and scalable products, reusable and can be integrated into CI/CD.
Work with the Development team and other stakeholders to resolve issues by debugging and analyzing the root cause.
Mandatory Requirements
Total Experience – 3-5 years in Testing with 2-3 years in Performance Testing.
2 years solid recent experience in performance testing with Jmeter. Experience in any of the other tools like Gatling, Locust, Tsung, LoadRunner is also preferred. Ability to understand NFRs and translate them into test cases.
Effectively capture and build a strategy to validate NFRs Test Plan and test Strategy.
Work on QA Deliverables such as Test Scenarios, Test Script Design, Test Execution and Test Reports etc.
Expertise is creating test beds, test data test and artifact management.
Good skills to understand applications including the underlying architecture and technology stack to recommend appropriate strategies.
Experience in Linux, Windows operating system, MySQL Database.
Good To Have
Knowledge/Experience in the following technologies : Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kafka, Apache Spark, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, Docker Containers, Shell/Python Scripting, Cloud, CI/CD pipeline, etc.
Hands-on experience in resolving Technical Issues.
Good Domain understanding – Infrastructure and Application.
Experience in using Mobile Performance Testing.
Certifications(any one of it) – ISTQB-Specialist Foundation Level Performance Testing, Apache JMeter Pro, Certified JMeter Tester
