Job Description : The OpportunityLaunchpad App Development is a leader in Australia’s new technology product development space, our vision is to enable those who believe in creating a better world.As a Product Designer, you will design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.ResponsibilitiesCreation of engaging, innovative, and measurable digital experiences (through sketches, UX/UI design, brand materials and other design artifacts).Translate customer and business insights into memorable digital experiences.Validate designs using a variety of techniques, from ad hoc testing through to formal usability studies.Crafting style guides and setting the design direction for projects.Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and user scenarios.QualificationsMinimum 2 years experience in UX/UI design (Agency experience a bonus)Experience designing mobile and web products through the complete lifecycle or an equivalent portfolio of work.University Qualification in one of the following areas: Interaction Design/UX UI Design/Digital Media Design, Communication Design or related field.Demonstrated expertise with digital design principles and standards, with clear judgment/rationale for design direction (including responsive design).Must have multi-format, multi-screen awarenessAn understanding of standards and best practices for iOS, Android and web (Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design)Most importantly the successful candidate:Thrives in a high-growth start-up environment, is comfortable with adapting to change and is able to learn quickly.Possesses superior interpersonal and communication skillsAbout UsFounded in 2015 and based in Melbourne, Launchpad is a product agency and venture studio growing an exciting and best-in-class team working on some of the most innovative and exciting technology products in Australia.We are team of entrepreneurs, UX/UI designers, product strategists, growth marketers, technologists and developers all hungry to take innovative ideas to market successfully.We’re a crew of 10 in our (dog friendly) Cremorne office and are on the lookout for product, growth and design champions to build successful digital products.We want people that are hungry to make a huge impact both for themselves and our clients and want a fun, supportive and collaborative workplace.Are you ready to make an impact?
