Associate Product Developer
Purpose
To provide technical development resource within the Development team. Work will involve developments in C#, T-SQL, and MS SQL Server. We are looking for a team player with broad technical knowledge who is keen to work on a range of different projects.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
Good technical skills in C ++ and C#.net & T-SQL, SQL Server
Knowledge and experience of Uniface (preferred)Knowledge of T-SQL and SQL databasesA 2.1 or higher degree in a relevant discipline (preferred)Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsGood team playerKeen to learn skills and learn/adapt to new challengesKnowledge of Java, RESTful API, SOAP, VB.net, ASPGood communicator and customer-facing experienceA 2.1 or higher degree in a relevant discipline (preferred)Experience working in relevant industry (retail, fulfilment, ERP) – (preferred)
Accountabilities (main functions)
To carry out assigned tasks, using in house methodology (Agile/Scrum) to time, quality, specification and budgetSoftware testing and fault finding
Ensure company standards and procedures in relation to development projects are maintainedTo contribute and assist in the development and maintenance of quality standards and proceduresCommunicate with customers effectively and in line with project requirementsProvide customer support as requiredAssist the Support Team in troubleshooting/resolving issues when requiredAdvising on the design, specification and costing of customer proposals
Performance Measures
Assigned Project tasks are completed within the agreed timescale, quality and budgetProcedures and standards for key processes and product are maintained in line with the in house methodologyEnsure company standards and procedures in relation to development projects are maintainedCompany policies (timekeeping etc.) are maintainedEffective verbal and written communicationsAbility to work under pressure individually and as part of a teamStrong interpersonal skillsStrong customer focus and service orientationTime management and prioritisation skillsAbility to work unsupervised
