Job Description : Description of responsibility

Convert requirements into a high level design or functional design

Create Proof of Concept tests to verify viability of new development

Discover and leverage 3rd party and open source libraries to find the best solution and modify according to needs

Set-up development standards and processes for entire backend team.
Writing effective and scalable Python code

Designing and implementing robust applications

Debugging applications to ensure low-latency and high-availability

Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic

Implementing security and data protection

Accommodating various data storage solutions

Optimizing code and functionality to ensure maximum performance of the system

Integrate 3rd party APIs for services such as location, payment, etc.

Ensuring uptime of the system and troubleshooting problems

Setup automated testing and CI/CD pipeline for the team
Preferred Relevant Experience

4+ years’ experience and expertise over Python & Django

Well versed with at-least 1 modern database. Preferably also to a NoSQL database.
Solid understanding of data structures, programming paradigms and application architecture

Great at problem solving and optimizing code to meet business objectives

Experience of writing high-performance applications that work at scale

Experience working in Agile teams with minimum supervision

Experience providing technical leadership to teammates
