Job Description : We’re looking for a software tester to join our growing team development team to help us deliver the best products to our 180,000 users.As a SaaS business we have a high volume of users and require a new QA/Software Tester to join our team. You will be part of a tightly knit team of developers to ensure our products are of the very highest level of quality.The ideal candidate will be an experienced quality assurance software tester that will be able to work independently, whilst supporting the development team.We would like the ideal candidate to have a good balance of home/office working, with preference of attending the office a few days a week for kick-off meetings/handovers/retrospectives with the rest of the time at home.We are looking for someone to own this role and put in place test plans to ensure the best results. You will be a strong communicator, and keen to collaborate to deliver incredible results.What you’ll be doing: Manual testing of all web and app based products which are launched by the business.Working with the Project Manager and Developers to ensure requirements are met and our products are defect-freeReport and log repeat platform defects using our standard defect tracking toolProviding regular reports and updates to the team on the progress of testing and tests performedPreparing test plans to execute the tests against each software component and demonstrate the business conditions under test and the expected resultsProviding inputs to the development team to improve processesRequirementsProven Manual test experience, testing complex software applicationsExperience writing appropriately detailed test plans based on need, functional specifications and complexityAbility to perform functional testing of software and record results in an appropriate, clear and concise formatThorough knowledge of structured test methods and processesBe able to demonstrate attention to detailExperience working in a SaaS environment would be an advantage, but not essentialJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to Friday
