As a Regional Marketing & Market Analysis Specialist, you will be part of Hitachi Energy business.
Primarily, your role will involve monitoring and analyzing external market trends and internal sales & marketing data to enable strategy development, strategy roll-out and performance KPI tracking. You will work in a multi-national and region-spanning team in a collaborative spirit to drive marketing activities as well as supporting the regional and local sales teams in their strategic and operational sales work through sales process improvements, sales data monitoring & visualization as well as supporting periodic sales reviews.
We are open to base the role in the home country where the applicant is based right now namely: – Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India
Your responsibilities
Tracking and analyzing market dynamics of regional utilities, industrial, transport, renewable segment and providing market intelligence support and guidance for business growth and positioning strategy within the region.
Closely monitoring evolution of pipelines in SFDC and acting as the interface point between regional teams and the BU and GPGs for market and strategy processes such as DOE, Heatmaps, WSP, PIE Budget.
Leading and coordinating Win/Loss analysis process, consolidating actions stemming from the analyses and tracking progresses to close them timely.
Collecting and analyzing customers’ feedbacks, organizing “Voice-of-Customer” campaigns and performing competitor analysis for the region.
Building-up regional marketing plans based on the global strategy, supporting regional promotion campaigns and customer events and releasing promotional materials focusing on regional needs.
Actively providing feedbacks on market intelligence, customer value and competition move, requests on competitiveness improvement and supporting strategy implementation.
Leading the coordination of internal sources of market/customer/demand information coming from Front-End Sales and Account Management.
Initiate, drive and support sales process improvement and roll-outs throughout the region
Coordinate annual market analysis and sales budget activities as the key window between countries and region.
Coordination of regular sales reviews with focus to increase efficiency in the sales governance.
Drive and develop internal communications through success stories and best-practice sharing, enable and support internal strategy communication as well as general internal engagement activities.

Your background
A University degree in Business Management or Engineering.
More than 8+ years of experience in marketing and/or selling industrial systems (ideally in grid systems) within the region of responsibility.
Technical understanding of grid integration products and solutions and proven experience in customer-facing activities: sales management and/or product promotion is preferred.
Strong analytical and financial skills to perform market analysis and prepare business plans and ability to synthetize complex or ambiguous issues into simple and clear statements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; Fluency in English and at least one other key language of the region, both written and spoken.
Strong Excel and PPT skills.
Good communicator to engage with diverse set of colleagues.
Good presentation skills.
Experience with internal communication methods is preferred.
