Job description:
Key responsibilities
Your role includes some or all, of the following key responsibilities. You should review these in conjunction with career level guidelines to gain a clear understanding of the expectations for your role.
Overall
o Execute reporting / analytics efforts in areas specific to the business function and industry of focus, for example: risk analysis dashboard, visualization of business metrics
o Identify and recommend process improvements based on results of analytics work
o Data ETL and reporting and analyzing the data
o Generate weekly / monthly reports with market trends past and present
o Generating insights from the visualization and communicate findings to the stakeholders
Metric Reporting and Analysis
o Running complex reports from existing databases
o Perform data profiling to identify anomalies
o Utilize tools (e.g., cross tabulation, charts and graphs for visualization for data reporting and develop dashboards using tools like Power BI, Qliksense and Qlikview) to develop business data insights
o Support quantitative and qualitative research approaches/programs and design surveys (sampling, questionnaire preparation, scales, reliability and validity of questionnaire)
o Conduct study of central tendency, dispersion, skewness and kurtosis of nominal & ordinal (non-metric), interval & ratio (metric) data
o Responsible for statistical inference of data through estimation techniques and hypothesis testing
o Gather business intelligence for decision making
o Coordinate with CIO team to implement new data models
Project Management
o Manage project scheduling including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Critical Path Analysis, PERT, management of PMBOK knowledge areas like cash flow estimation, resource loading and leveling, Schedule crashing, risks identification, assessment & control
o Support project monitoring and control through Earned Value Analysis
Others:
o Familiarity with data collection software and protocols
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
