Job Description : About the role:
Fasten your helmet and climb aboard if you’re ready to be our Software Engineer. In this role, you will be an integral player in the Merchant Platform team based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Focusing heavily on designing and implementing products for a massive network of small, medium and large businesses, you will employ coding and programming, deploy android applications in efforts to ensure seamless experience for our Merchants across the region. The folks in the GoFood and GoPay team will be your companions on this ride. Your efforts will directly influence the growth of business of millions of Indonesian and Southeast Asia Merchants.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, ship, and maintain medium or high complexity features with guidance from more experienced engineer
Translate objectives into step by step, evaluate and then refactor into a scalable and extensible design
Design and develop secure, clean, clear, scalable, and well-documented code base with minimal guidance
Has an in-depth understanding of at least one programming language and framework
Takes responsibility for the entire lifecycle of their stories: development, test, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements.
Configure/build new and enhanced functionality in the Salesforce.com platform using declarative and/or programmatic solutions.
Customize Salesforce using Custom Objects, Workflows, Validations, Lightning Components, LWC, APIs etc. while adhering to Salesforce best practices
What You Will Need
At least 4years of experience on Salesforce platform
Hands-on with technology and upcoming trends in Salesforce
Experience with writing Unit Tests and Instrumented Tests
Able to scope and review user stories and making them into an actionable item
Declarative customisation including the creation of Flow, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Workflow rules, Reports and Dashboards
Comprehension of SFDC Data Model and Management using tools like DataLoader and SOQL
Understanding of Salesforce security models for OWDs, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules
Understanding of Salesforce architecture and development best practices
Knowledge of web services development using rest API, SOAP services, etc. to build custom Inbound/Outbound integrations on Salesforce platform.

Our Merchant Platform Engineer Team consists of 60 more people based in Jakarta, Yogyakarta and India. Working alongside the engineering and product groups, we are predominantly concerned to create an ecosystem of solutions to accommodate merchants’ needs on the Gojek platform to better manage and grow their business.. We constantly strive to improve the merchant experience and enhance our integrated ecosystem that consists of such as food delivery, offline payment acceptance, POS, financial services, deals, and promotions altogether
