Job Description : Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Solution Integrity Analyst will be part of a team responsible for the SAP FI-GL global design within the assigned Instance, will provide solution governance and oversight of that design during the Instance’s large deployment programs and during various complex enhancement projects and/or sustain activities, and will ensure that solutions and services meet the approved business requirements in alignment with the global design. Key Accountabilities

Ensure ongoing Instance solution integrity of FI-GL functionality across multiple concurrent SAP deployment programs by providing scope management, overall solution direction/oversight in alignment with the global template during requirements gathering, design, build and test phases, researching and providing solutions and effort estimates for complex requirement gaps and change requests, and when necessary, providing clarity of solutions and capabilities
Consult, review, and approve functional and technical specifications created by delivery project teams
Thoroughly understand the integration impacts of upstream/downstream applications and processes to SAP FI-GL functionality and work across functional domains to identify and resolve issues and manage inter-dependencies between integration points
Understand and mitigate any risks to the global design during large SAP deployment programs, major and/or complex enhancements, and/or complex break-fix issues/sustain activities
Identify, enable, and drive innovative and integrated technical solutions and continuous improvement, simplification, and/or automation opportunities that deliver key business requirements and/or technical objectives and align with the Instance blueprint
Forward-thinking consideration of long-term, strategic direction and digitalization of the SAP Instance during deployment programs to ensure overall solution alignment to that direction; and consider and research new SAP FI-GL functionality capabilities and design impacts
Develop, maintain, and share long-term domain knowledge Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, computer science, business, or in another closely-related field, or equivalent work experience
5-7 years relevant IT work experience with an ERP system
Proven strong working knowledge and experience in SAP ECC functional and technical aspects of SAP FI-GL module including: All SAP processes and functionality associated with month-end and year-end close; global exchange rate design, configuration, and process flows; currency revaluation and translation; intercompany set up and related processes; FI/CO org hierarchy objects; Finance master data; and GL account clearing functionality
Demonstrated experience in delivering significant, large, complex, and customized multi-year programs and projects, and in delivering planned benefits within project timelines
Ability to efficiently understand complex FI-GL business requirements and provide sound technical solutions for customized SAP areas
Ability to travel up to 35% if SAP deployment programs require (when Cargill’s covid guidelines allow)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5 years business experience in Finance or Accounting
Familiarity with exchange rate configuration/processes in SD that impact FI, SD and MM account determination and process flows, reporting tool options, and bad debt processes
Working knowledge of automated month-end close add-on software is a plus
Broad SAP FICO knowledge and experience in areas beyond FI-GL, such as Fixed Assets, Project Systems, Treasury, Tax, Controlling, COPA, etc.
S/4HANA FICO experience
