Job Description : We are a small but professional firm of accountants providing clients with accountancy and taxation services. We are based 3 miles south-east of Norwich (straight off the A47) in a lovely countryside office with free parking. We offer the right candidates a flexible, relaxed working environment within a flat working structure that fits well with the balances of family life.Due to growth we are seeking an experienced senior accountant. Qualifications in accountancy are not essential but experience in working within an accountancy practice is a must.Senior accountantYou will be responsible for, but not limited to:· Preparing accounts and working papers for partner review for limited companies· Preparing and reviewing personal and corporation tax computations· Maintaining client relationships through email, phone and occasional client visits.· Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring a smooth work flow and meeting all client deadlines· Training and mentoring of your team of junior members of staff· Reviewing junior members of staff work, including VAT returnsThe successful candidate will have the following attributes:· At least 3 years relevant accountancy practice experience is essential· An ability to work to a high level of accurately and to deadlines· To be honest, discreet and adhere to confidentiality rules· Good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills as well as with a being able to work to a high level of attention to detail· Enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking· The ability to work in a small, friendly team whilst maintaining professional standards.· Good working knowledge of accounting software including Sage, Xero and other online software’s although training will be givenOur office is a Covid-19 approved work place.Work remotelyNoJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 37.5 per weekSalary: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus schemeBenefits:On-site parkingSchedule:Monday to FridayNo weekendsEducation:Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:Accountants: 3 years (required)working in accounting practice: 3 years (required)Reference ID: SA
